A Sales Manager Primary Responsibilities Include,

  • Technical Expertise: Possess A Strong Understanding Of The Technical Aspects Of Machine Tools, Industrial Machinery, CNC Machines, And Plastic Injection Molding Machines. This Allows Them To Explain Features, Functionalities, And Benefits To Potential Customers
  • Solution Selling: Identify Customer Needs And Translate Them Into Technical Solutions Using The Appropriate Machinery From Your Companys Offerings
  • Customer Presentations & Demonstrations: Effectively Present And Demonstrate The Capabilities Of Your Machines, Addressing Technical Questions And Concerns
  • Proposal Development: Contribute To Creating Technical Proposals Tailored To Specific Customer Requirements
  • Sales Support: Collaborate With The Sales Team Throughout The Sales Cycle, Providing Technical Expertise During Negotiations And Closing Deals.
  • Lead Generation: May Take On A More Active Role In Identifying And Qualifying Potential Customers.
  • Mentorship: Provide Guidance And Support To Junior Sales Engineers.
  • Complex Deals: Handle More Complex Sales Opportunities That Require In-depth Technical Knowledge And Negotiation Skills.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Oversee The Performance Of A Team Of Sales Engineers Or Other Sales Representatives Within A Specific Area Or Territory.
  • Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop And Implement Sales Strategies For Their Assigned Area, Aligning With Overall Company Goals.
  • Coaching & Motivation: Coach And Motivate Their Team To Achieve Sales Targets.
  • Recruiting & Training: May Be Involved In Recruiting And Training New Sales Personnel.
  • Performance Management: Track And Evaluate The Performance Of Their Team Members
  • Overall Sales Leadership: Provide Overall Leadership And Direction For The Entire Sales Team, Which Might Include Multiple Area/Assistant Sales Managers And Inpidual Sales Engineers.
  • Sales Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop Sales Forecasts And Budgets For The Company.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Lead The Development And Implementation Of Overall Sales Strategies.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Clients.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze Sales Performance Data And Identify Areas For Improvement.
